Help Support the Programs at the Antelope Valley Church!

Here is how we see it:

PEOPLE ARE MOST IMPORTANT

as a church, people are the focus of everything we do, not their money. we don’t view things through the lens of a donor base, giving units or pet projects for those with money. We want everyone who comes to feel welcome, whether or not you give financially toward our cause.

FINANCIAL GIVING IS FIRST AND FOREMOST ABOUT WORSHIP

some people give out of duty, others give as an investment to get something back, but neither is the biblical mandate for giving. giving is an act of worship between you and God and therefore should not be done out of compulsion or guilt (Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 9:6-8).

WE PREFER TO SEE IT AS WHAT WE GIVE OUT, NOT WHAT WE BRING IN.

Those who generously contribute to the Antelope Valley Church know that it is to benefit the people who walk in the doors and the community where we live, plus we believe in supporting mission work in our sister churches in the Baltic & Nordic Countries and other benevolent projects around the world through HOPE worldwide.

Meeting the Needs

Our congregation is devoted to meeting the needs of the community in which we reside. James 1: 27 states "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress...". Meeting the needs of our community is an incredible responsibility that our congregation does not take lightly. We work with several organizations throughout the year to develop programs that serve the needy. Here are just a few of the programs we support: Grace Resources, Lancaster Homeless Shelter, & HOPE worldwide.
As a congregation we partner with HOPE worldwide, the benevolent arm of our churches, with the desire and goal to lend a helping hand. We offer many opportunities on local and international levels to practice “pure religion” as described in James 1:27. The events and programs we provide span the calendar year with service opportunities such as our Martin Luther King Day of Service, and our HOPE House.

We are always looking for new ways to help others. We are very fortunate to have what we have and it is vital to us that we give back and MEET THE NEEDS.
If you would like to help in any way please send us an email at churchinfo@avchurch.org.
